The Municipality of Riva San Vitale, in collaboration with the Società Salvataggio Mendrisiotto, is organisingthe popular Crossing of the Gulf of Riva San Vitale.

The event, which is not only sporting but above all recreational and non-competitive, is an opportunity for all swimming enthusiasts to enjoy a moment of healthy fun and joyful socialization, in an environmental and natural environment of great value, such as the Gulf of Riva San Vitale.

- Length: 1 nautical mile (about 1850 m)
- Entry fee: CHF 30.-
- Registration: by Wednesday 17 July 2024 (max. 130 participants)
- Meeting point: 9:00 a.m., Lido comunale, Riva San Vitale

Each participant receives: a buoy (obligatory), a commemorative T-shirt and brunch offered (excluding drinks).

In case of bad weather the crossing will be postponed to Sunday 27 July 2025.
