Michael Elsener is a comedian from Zug with a whole host of voices and viral online videos to match. He is back on tour and getting the ball rolling here in his home town, bringing a new show – Fake me Happy – full of jokes, parodies, characters and songs.

Do we like the world the way it is? What passes for reality would rarely be our first choice. We escape into fake Instagram worlds, lose ourselves in Netflix series and take to social media to display our fake selves. This new show from Michael Elsener is the ideal accompaniment to our daily dose of self-deception. Why depress ourselves with the truth? Just say Fake me Happy!

Michael gives us an evening where the world is how we’d like it to be, with the support of Roger Federer, Ignazio Cassis, Roger Köppel, Viola Amherd, local penny-pincher Ronny Buser and many more besides. He’ll get you, the audience, to give him ideas and improvise you a new, fake reality every evening, each one cleverer than the last.
